Hi, I’m Charlotte.
I am so glad you’re here.
Charlotte Perry, BSc (Hons)
Integrative Counsellor
My training is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need - rather than expecting you to fit into a single model.
I’m attentive to the therapeutic relationship itself, and to creating a sense of safety, trust, and collaboration from the very first session.
My professional background includes many years in demanding roles across creative and corporate environments. This has given me a first-hand understanding of professional pressure, burnout, and the emotional complexity of career change.
I know what it can be like to quietly carry more than you can hold alone, and this shapes the compassionate, non-judgemental way I work with stress, ambition, and identity.
I work relationally, gently, and at a pace that feels right for you.
People often come to me when life feels overwhelming, unclear, or tender in ways that are hard to name.
You don’t need to arrive with everything worked out - we can take things slowly, together.
I’m particularly mindful of how difference, identity, and lived experience shape the way we move through the world. I aim to offer a space where you can show up as you are, without needing to edit or explain yourself.
Professional training & membership
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling, a professional degree validated by Middlesex University and designed to develop ethical, relational, and clinically grounded practice,
alongside an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
I am an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with its Ethical Framework. I will be applying for full registered membership following completion of the Certificate of Proficiency.
My degree training was aligned with UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) standards for education and training, with a strong emphasis on relational depth, reflective practice,
and working ethically with complexity.
I am currently completing the final clinical hours required for UKCP accreditation, alongside ongoing supervision and professional development.
This blend of academic rigour, ethical accountability, and relational training informs the way I work with clients - prioritising presence over technique, collaboration over assumption, and depth over quick solutions.
For added reassurance, I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am registered with the
DBS Update Service, which means my DBS status is kept up to date.
